How to use this pack
To open: remove tamper evidence strip and lift the lid.
In the pack is a scoop and leveler to help you measure the correct amount of powder. Store your scoop in the lid between uses.
Click the lid securely shut to keep your powder fresh.
Cow & Gate Comfort has a thicker texture than most other milk. We recommend using either a variable flow teat or a single hole teat with a medium or fast flow.
How to prepare your baby’s milk
Because powdered milk is not sterile, failure to follow instructions may make your baby ill.
1 Wash hands and sterilize all utensils according to the manufacture’s instructions.
2 Boil 1 liter of freshly run water. Leave the kettle to cool for 30 minutes and no longer. Measure the required amount of water (refer to feeding guide) into a sterilized bottle. Be careful of scalding. Do not use artificially softened or repeatedly boiled water.
3 Using the scoop provided, level off the powder with the built-in leveler. Do not press or heap the powder.
4 Add the correct measure of powder to the water. Adding too many or too few scoops can be harmful. Place the sterilized teat and cap on the bottle and shake immediately, vertically and vigorously for at least 10 seconds, until the powder is dissolved.
5 Cool under a running tap. Check the temperature of feed. Feed immediately. Due to the blend of ingredients in Cow & Gate Comfort, the milk can separate once prepared. If this occurs, shake the bottle vigorously to mix and use as normal.
